Poem – “Strange Rabbit”

Strange Rabbit

Stealing away in silhouettes,
Never think that I don’t see you
How could anyone miss such colours?

Your transition is all too obvious
To the point where it’s hard to believe
You were ever real after you disappear

Beady eyes that swirl so anxiously
I sense that you are running late
When you dart through my peripheral again
