Poem – “Mellow”

Mellow

Morning sun bursts the stars underneath the
Epidermis of the earth’s blooming flora,
Lights up the leaves of vast gardens
Loosens the needling ache in my heart
Opaque rays, send my emotions far away
Will you make me as hollow, mellow as a tuft of petals
