Poem – “Eye Pressure”

Eye Pressure

Sick of seeing saccharine gestures
Sick of blood dropping from eye pressure
There was a year once that held no migraines
There was an eye once that saw the future
And knew its strain would be for none but loss
And poured tears profuse until it shut for good
